I apologize firstly for creating a new post but i would appreciate a swift response as well I haven't been on these forums for a while and it's hard finding where to post.

Can anyone assist me on how I can install the os /drivers for my alienware 15 when I change my existing 1 TB 5400 RPM drive to a SSD. As the AW15 doesn't have a disc drive...how do I install the os on my ssd. I can't clone my drive as the capacity isn't similar. For drivers I assume, I just download it from Dell site.

Download the windows media vreation tool and make a bootable usb drive. Also you can clone the drive. As long if the ocupied drive space is lower than the total space on the ssd.

You download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool from Microsoft and it will copy Windows to a USB stick.
Alternatively you can get a free USB stick with Windows on it from Dell.
Yes, drivers are from the Dell site.
You could clone but I would suggest doing a clean install. :)

You can also use the "Create USB Recovery" app from your start menu to create a bootable USB thumb drive that will install Windows and all AW/Dell drivers and programs on your new SSD. It will save you the time of having to download and install drivers manually.
