    Hey guys..

Tried repasting my laptop with Artic MX-4.

The computer won't boot on anymore.

It turns on for a second, the keyboard backlight turns on and side lights go on, the fans spin, then it completely goes off. The screen is completely black during this process.

It repeats this step for about 3-4 times then, eventually, the keyboard backlight and side lights stay on but it hangs there and the screen is still completely black. The alienware Logo blinks red 2 times and then blinks blue 7 times, and then just repeats.

    Is the mobo fried?

I wouldn't give up that easy.
If the display didn't light, that would be the first cable I would check,
but I would check that ALL the cables you messed with, are all reconnected and well seated properly...
    Bet you find something.
    luck

    Table 1. Diagnostics
    Light Pattern Problem description
    2,1 CPU failure
2,2 System board: BIOS and ROM failure
2,3 No memory or RAM detected
    2,4 Memory or RAM failure
    2,5 Invalid memory installed
2,6 System board or chipset error
    2,7 LCD failure
    3,1 CMOS battery failure
    3,2 PCI/video card failure
    3,3 Recovery image not found
3,4 Recovery image found but invalid

Judging by the blinking lights and looking at the Diagnostics table, 2 reds and 7 blues mean LCD failure. How the hell did that happen.. Lol. So my motherboard might be good after all. Now the issue is how do I fix my LCD. :(

okay... if the cable to the display wasn't seated quite correctly, I would assume you would get that error... or at least you sure COULD. Unless conditions are really dry and subject to static (or you split something on the computer), the FIRST thing to assume is the connections have oxided, or moved, or something... boards don't screw up all that often... connections do.
    luck

Try fidgeting with the connection carefully.

If it is indeed an LCD failure, your computer should still boot with an HDMI to Monitor or TV. Test this out before buying/replacing a new screen

Something tells me its a cable. The ones in these units are very very easy to not get snug, especially the brass clip down ones check them all again.
