    Alienware 15 R1 sometimes wont turn off

    Sometimes when i turn off my pc windows shut down fine but the light still on and y hear the fan spin really fast

    I format my pc today and the problem persist, i dont know what could be, i thought that was some driver but no

    Any thoughts?

    you update the BIOS ??? i am using the A06 in the same system and i dont have problems

    I just installed A06 and use them a couple of hours then shutt down and the same happends

    Which OS do you have?

    Depending on the OS, you could disable Hybrid Shutdown.

    Try disabling Hybrd Shutdown.

    Didn't work, it was already disabled, because when i bought a ssd y turn off the hibernate
