I saw a general thread for temps but figured it would be nice to have one for the AW15. Please share.
Please download 3Dmark Basic and run just Firestrike 1.1 to ensure its the same playing field. Synth or not wont matter for temps. :)

It would probably be good to include bios version since it seems that people have different temps depending on which bios is installed.

    Hi,
this is not easy to compare. There are so many different situations. Each game makes other temps on CPU or GPU. I think it should be compared in on game, or at least in bunch of games.
From my point of view, I suggest all of you who didnt already do that, to uninstall Dell Support Assist and Support Assist Agent. This lowered my (mostly) iddle temps significantly. Also iddle temps are not easy to catch. Because when you start your PC it will run cool and passive for very long time. But after you play some game and then left notebook idle, temps will be much higher as BIOS will not force CPU to cool as much.
So for me, taking some average

    BIOS: A01
Idle beforce played any game: CPU ~45C-50C, GPU is OFF
Idle after played any game: CPU: 60C - 65C, GPU is OFF but about 50-55C
Gaming: depends, mostly CPU: 80-85C average, GPU 70-75C

    HDD is about 37-38C

Good point. To make everything even I perhaps we should all run 3DMark Firestrike 1.1 from 3dMark basic. I will adjust the first post.

Better testing with 3Dmark11. Harder test. Also use Cinebench 11.5 and Wprime 1024 stress test for the processor...
