    Hello there

I'm in the market for a new laptop and I've been debating between an Alienware 13 and a Retina MacBook (or Pro) for a while now. I paid the Apple store a visit and although I initially liked the idea of a 12" Retina MacBook, I just found it way too small for my needs.

I am currently debating between an Alienware 13 and a 13"/15" MacBook Pro, but the latter is quite expensive.

Someone I know is selling an Alienware 13 with top specs except for the hard drive, which is a 500GB Hybrid Drive. I haven't actually used the laptop yet, but the flash storage on the Mac is really, really fast and impressive, which is making me think about upgrading from the hybrid drive to a full-SSD if I buy the Alienware.

What do you guys think about that? Is it actually worth it?

I've been looking at our markets and I found these:

    http://www.egprices.com/en/product/...id-state-drive-ssd-mz-n5e500bw--el-badr-group

    http://www.egprices.com/en/product/...tlc-internal-solid-state-drive-ssd--compufast

    http://www.egprices.com/en/product/...olid-state-hard-drive-sh103s3-480g--compu-art

    http://www.egprices.com/en/product/...-6-0gb-s-solid-state-drive-ssd--el-badr-group

They're all out of stock online but I am sure I can find them locally, and they're quite expensive which is why I am debating whether or not the upgrade is actually worth it and noticeable.

I've been reading A LOT of reviews on the Alienware 13 and they're mostly positive, except for one main issue which is making me quite concerned, and it is that the GPU does not handle the 4K display (with touch screen) as well as it should, and that it lags and stutters sometimes - is that true? That's probably a deal breaker for me right there if it is.

Thanks for your time and I apologize for the long post, I just want to make sure I am not dishing out money into thin air.
