    Hi All,

I did a Windows 10 upgrade on my Alienware 13 without keeping drivers and files as I couldn't get a clean Windows 10 upgrade to activate. I see there are now some workarounds on that issue. Currently everything works great except I don't see a Win 10 upgrade for the Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 software on the Alienware support website.

Creative Labs has a Windows 10 version of the software available for $30. Is this my only option or am I missing something?

    Thanks,
    Robert

Check the Dell support / downloads page with your service tag, then navigate to Windows 10 downloads.*

*Select Windows 10 as the OS.

Thanks for the input. I had done that first (and last) but unfortunately the Xi-Fi MB3 software is not available. The software is available in the Win 8.1 OS selection.

I had the same issue. I don't remember exactly what I did, but it was probably the following:

    1) Download XMB3-VDWEB-2-11.exe from Logitech, and Alienware-13_Application_TVDRN_WN_1.00.04_A00.exe from Dell.
    2) Extract the contents of each file on a different folder (use 7zip or something like to extract the files)
    3) From the XBM3-VBWEB-2-11 folder, open the "audio" folder and copy the folders "Alchemy" and "SBXFiMB3" and paste them in the Alienware-13_Application_TVDRN_WN_1.00.04_A00\Audio folder. Overwrite as prompted.
    4) Do the same with the whole CTShared folder. Overwrite as prompted.
    5) Use the setup.exe from the Alienware-13_Application_TVDRN_WN_1.00.04_A00 folder to install the app.

Tell me if this doesn't work. There's some time I did it and I don't remember everything. But I still have the "fixed" driver here so I can upload it if you need.

    b4nd10,
Thanks for that. Before I saw your response, I went ahead and purchased the software from Creative Labs. I appreciate you taking the time to type up that procedure.

    Thanks,
    Robert

That should do it. Anyways, the previous Windows drivers and app works flawlessly.
