    Alienware 13 with quad core CPU?

    No, I think that TDP has more to do with it than anything else, The CPUs in the 13 are U series that are 15 watts TDP verses the 45 watt quad cores in the 15 and 17.

    Too much heat and of course they would need to upgrade the power supply, not to mention the 960m wouldnt benefit from a more powerful CPU.

    How's the ventialltion in the 13 vs the 15 and 17??, aren't the fans the same diameter and provide the same airflow??

    I have no idea, im not a Dell engineer. But theres obviously less room in the 13 for heat pipes or airflow. Parts would be more crammed together.

    The thing would run quite hot with a 45 watt TDP chip in it.

    Thank you! There should be more benefit from a more powerful CPU whenever you use dell's amplifier and certain games
