    anyone know if the connectors for the 1366xXXX screen is the same as the higher res screen? If not does the mother have both connectors?

    It should be 30-pin, like the 1080p screen. At least, that is what laptopscreen.com states.
    As for the other higher resolution screens (1440p and 1800p), they might be different.

    Ok thanks. I have an opportunity to replace the i5 board with a i7 but wanted to keep the lower res screen so I get better performance. Didn't want the 3400 x Xxx screen or whatever he ultra higher res is.

    1080p are the 30 pins....4K are the 40 pin connectors.

    The motherboard has a 40pin (on an AW15) But the cable ends with a 30pin connector if you have a fhd screen. a different cable is used for the 4k panels.
