Anyone else with the alienware 13 with the 1440 touchscreen having issues with Google chrome browser. Using he touchpad the Scrolling becomes inverted and everytime you start a scroll a kind of 'touch ping breifly shows up on screen before jaggedly scrolling he wrong way.

A Google search showed Lenovo yoga Users having Similar issues and installing new drivers which I wasn't keen on trying for The Alienware.

So far I'm a bit disappointed with he performance of the trackpad and the scaling issues of some programs on the screen.

Is it worth sticking it out with the higher res screen with Hope of better windows integration. Or sending it back for a 1080 screen?

Turn it in for the 15 inch, 1080p model. The trackpads on the 15 and 17 are the same as last year's models, and my Alienware 14 and 18 have nice touchpads. I think compact laptops, such as my new XPS 13, don't match the big boys in some areas such as this. There is also a setting for "reverse scrolling," in the mouse settings which may help. Good luck
