I updated the BIOS and chipset drivers today and installed the OLED driver. Now I am stuck at max brightness, cannot change. i reinstalled both Intel and Nvidia video drivers, reinstalled Alienware OSD, no change. Thoughts?

Is it the same result for when the charger is plugged/unplugged?
If you're using Windows 10, have you tried adjusting the brightness by right-clicking the desktop in the Display settings?

What does Intel HID driver do, does it enable FN + Brightness/Mute etc functionalities?

That would be the OSD (OnScreenDisplay) Driver.

Had the same issue. It magically fixed itself when I plugged into the razer core. Wish I could be more help. If I have the issue again in the future, I'd like to know how to fix it. Any tips?
