It is my first time to have a gaming laptop/pc,and my 3rd day with AW15.I have problem with apps looks small and some Icons I tried to do a lot of things to fix it but I couldn't, I download some drives for display and also changed the size of all items Extra Extra Large - 250% but still the same even though the screen resolution looks fine.I noticed when I setup some games or app looks different then my pc.

I'm going to get my Alienware 15 UHD next week so I'm also curious about this phenomena. I guess this had to do with Windows itself and scaling properly but not sure. Windows 10 is supposed to fix these issues. Not a big hemp I guess:/

That is normal, you will get that with some app that don't care about windows scaling. I would just set scaling at 200% and be done with it. There isn't really anything you can do.

In the meantime please go here, run HWinfo and post the model results of your monitor panel type?

Do you have the same problem, I can't even play THE EVIL WITHIN in full screen.

If you want games to take up the whole screen, you'll have to do some tweaking in the Intel Graphics Control Panel.
Display -> Resolution (change it to non-Optimal) -> Scale Full Screen -> Save Profile (because you would want this later on) -> apply. Keep in mind that your scaling will carry over to whatever resolution you have.
Alternatively, you could play games at native resolution or using the setting "borderless window", but I don't think those are good ideas.

Try not checking "Use one scaling level for all my displays". I found that scaling is worse when it is checked because Windows never adapts to the app running. Currently the only app that I have that doesn't scale is Origin.

On the contrary, that option gives me better scaling, If I didn't have Use one scaling level for all my displays, then if I launch something like services.msc, it looks all blurry as if it was displayed in a non native resolution.
