I have the 970M, thinking of RMA and getting the 980M. Does it get noticeably hotter?

Why would you RMA the 970? Just curious. And why would you think the 980 runs hotter?

The 980M technically should be hotter as it is clocked 12% faster, I was wonding if it was noticeable. I already find the right keyboard side a little hot ont he 970M

yes but as its a faster card, with more pipelines, id assume it actually has to do less....

while running BF4 maxed out (FHD) i dont see more than 70% GPU load.... while gaming on my 20'' 1680x1050 it wont really rise above 50%... great cards.

have you set custom fan profiles via HWinfo..?? its a must as the stock profiles are crap!!
