So I bought a 17 R4 with killer 1535, and since I have 1Gbps fiber, decided to upgrade my wireless router also.
    So I bought a 1200Mbps D-link DIR-860L, with 867Mbps on 5Ghz (dual 80Hz outputs @ 430Mbps) , and 300 something on 2.4Ghz.

Got the 5Ghz going , connected to it, searched all settings...and I get 430Mbps.

I assume the killer should have 2 x 5ghz connections open with the router to get the full 867Mbps? And I mean only wireless, no LAN cable.

    What am I missing ?

I disabled the killer settings . They were limiting my bandwidth ,didn't notice until i got upgraded from 25mbps to 50mbps and my speed never went up. Turns out if you do the killer speed test it will set that as your maximum download speed and do priority based on that. So i just disabled it all together.

i think he's refering to advanced stream detect and doubleshot ....i had them disabled, but i can only get 1 wireless connection of 430 Mbps to the wifi...instead of 2.

Try Revo to completely uninstall the killer control center or performance suite. Then download latest drivers from killer and don't set speed limits. Additionally, you can set Roaming aggressiveness to Lowest in device manager's network adapter setting for Killer 1535.

And also sell your property, car, AW, Macs and iPhones to get your hands on 1 Gbps.

Yeah at that point I'd rather just get the internet on floppy disks.

Maybe usb drives sounds good. For floppies, you could try visiting a museum.

My HOA only gives us fiber as an option, which could garner such speeds, but they have no intention of selling us any more than 30 down/10 up. You can pay $$$ for a static IP and that's it. I can't get a different ISP because they own all the hardware.

So even if I wanted to have the OP's problem I couldn't and it's not even a money thing. Haha.

MY ISP charges $175 for 1Gbps and throttles the speed once you reach 1TB data usage.
