So guys i have another bug with my aw15r3.

I was out and my mom tried to use my pc, but t when she was turning it on, she pressed 2 or 3 times the power button.

Now, when i press the power button, the light of power button and alienware logo turns on, but no image appears. Then, a few seconds, it turns down.

I had the same problem when i ran out of battery, then i have to plug the adapter, and tried a lot of times, and when all hope was lost, i unplug the charger, pressed the power and magically turn on (resuming my session before the power ended).

Does anyone knows how to prevent this bugs or how to solve? Is my pc in sleep mode? Do i have to press some key combinations?

I saw on internet in alienware youtube to reset the battery by opening the battery and remove it...i guess is chmos dont know....

Anyone have this bug??? Please help thanks guys

You could remove CMOS battery cable and do a power reset and try turning on your alienware.

i left the notebook off by the night, and this morning started normal. Very weird this thing. Do you have this kind of problem when ending the battery or something similar?

I think your power button has some issue, there was some other forum member complaining about the same issue and Dell tech just replaced the power button. You could give it a shot?

Yes, I faced it before. And yesterday, after taking it apart & re-assembling....it didn't post when started. Gave CMOS battery failure indication flashes: 3,1.

Left it overnight with battery to drain, this morning after plugging AC adapter, facing the exact same thing as you mentioned...

"...when i press the power button, the light of power button and alienware logo turns on, but no image appears. Then, a few seconds, it turns down."

Going to check again after work.
