    Hi all

    Can't decide between a v1.0 Vindicator 17" bag and the v2.0 Vindicator 15" bag for my Alienware 15 R3.

The 17" one (v1) is on sale in Australia at the moment for about half the price of the v2.0 bags. Dell lists them both as being compatible with the AW15r3 but am worried the 17" one will be very loose or poorly fitting vs the 15".

    Has anyone tried this?

look at the size of a 17 R2 or R3. if your 15 R3 is shorter, it will fit on 17v1 backpack

Main concern isn't whether it will fit (dimension wise it does), but whether it's a good fit or if it feels loose.

I wouldn't get the 1.0 . Ordered one when I had my 13 R2 and the quality was as good as a $10 Jansport bag you can buy (obviously it had many more compartments and features) but it felt so crummy.
