    Hi guys,

Just a quick question I installed EVGA X and whenever I try to open the program it stops working and shuts down. Doesn't even fully load up. Any ideas what's doing on? I want to try pushing my 980m a bit more. I have the latest driver. 347.52 from nvidia.

Also on a minor note. How do I totally disable the intel HD graphics?

    Thank you.
    Glen

347.52 is an overclock-blocking driver. You'll need pre-347.xx or post-347.xx drivers to overclock the 980m.
And you don't want to disable the iGPU. It's the display GPU. You disable it, and you can't see anything on the laptop. The laptop is driven by Optimus.

Okay thats great thanks for that info :)

Does anyone know how I can totally disable the Intel graphics? I want to solely use the Nvidia GPU so I can monitor it with AIDA64

As I said, you don't want to disable the iGPU. The GTX 980m is a render-only GPU. It can't display anything because the laptop is Optimus-only.
You can disable it in device manager, but once you do that, you lose display on the screen (laptop panel and external monitor).
