The more I use the touchpad, the more yanky I feel when I'm moving my mouse. I want to try reinstalling or repair the mouse driver to see if it fixes the yankiness of the mouse.

I downloaded the input drivers from Dell drivers page, and ran the executable. The executable tells me that it detected a same version of the input drivers, thus did not do anything to the input drivers. It then finishes the installation by telling me nothing has changed.

Felt like reinstalling the input driver, I decided to try the method of uninstalling/installing. Alas, an error occurred:

I don't know how to reinstall input drivers. The Dell input drivers installation executable does nothing. I can't use the uninstall/install method. Any other ways of doing this?

I'm currently on Windows 10 Pro, using Alienware 13 R1.
