    Hello Guys & Gals,

Is my understanding that on Pascal card is not possible to flash a modded vbios the same way it was possible on previous generation cards but it is however possible to flash OEM vbios, and i was wondering if a Vbios coming from an AW 17 R5 gtx-1070 OC can be flashed over an AW 17 R4 gtx-1070, to increase the card TDP. Has anyone attempted this? It is doable? can anyone share the Vbios from an R5 model with samsung Vram?

    regards,

The AW17R4 already has the OC firmware.

It touches 140/145watts under loads isntead of the stock 115/125watts.

Thanks for the info rinneh, didn't know about that and it actually might explain why I'm able to push the gpu +235mhz with about 133w (reported by hwinfo64 at least). I believe I'm voltage limited to go any further since the card isn't stable above 235mhz

What if we don't have the OC firmware? Mine only hits 125w.
