I currently have a 17 R2. Is it worth upgrading to the R3? Is there any way to swap the 1080p with a 4K screen?

I don't know the difference between the two laptops BUT I have the R3 and it came with the 1080p screen. I swapped it out for the 4k screen myself so that can be done :)

That's possible. To upgrade, you'd need to sell your current one and get a new one :p
