What do people use to carry their AW 17? I am looking for something that will fit it, the PSU along with:

    1. Surface Pro 4 and its PSU
    2. A notebook with pens
    3. My Kindle
    4. A water bottle
    What do you all suggest?

I'm surprised that anyone who appears to be old enough to log on to a public forum doesn't have their own opinon of the perfect day pack. My North Face pack hasn't been made in 20 years so there's no use recommending it. But I will recommend that whichever pack you choose you ALSO purchase an Alienware Vindicator neoprene sleeve, less than 30 bucks.

The Neoprene Sleeve is cool. You could look into using the Vindicator backpack with that as well. But I've seen many others with very cool backpacks from other manufacturers as well.

At the end, it will all be a personal choice haha.

Whichever pack you get be sure to get the Alienware Vindicator sleeve. Then you can jumble other stuff in with your 17 and not scratch it.

I prefer packs with the curved zipper over the top, rather than a drawstring and flap. Most computer or "school" packs will have this zipper. Alienware also makes packs like this, although they also seem to have a hard shell to them that might seem a bit wanky (personal preferences).

Here are some high-end pack mfrs, in no order:

    North Face
    Marmot
    Osprey
    Arcteryx
    Patagonia--might also make packs, I can't remember.

The best online site to shop for packs would be REI, followed by backcountry.com.

Another personal pref is whether to get pockets on the outside (like my north face) so if your water bottle blows it doesn't damage your computer. But packs without pockets are slimmer (like my Marmot BC30-no longer made). And instead of a water bottle, what about a hydrator sleeve?

    Personal prefs.

I use a Targus for 18" backpack. It can carry all things you need, and of course your AW.
