Hi, did anyone who did a repaste actually measure the thickness of the thermal pads?

I did a repaste myself but didn't think to measure the thickness of the pads at the time.

From the pics I took at the time it looks like there are two thicknesses, maybe 0.5mm and 1.0mm, but that's just a guess.

Does anyone know the actual thicknesses?

can i just ask why you need to know the thickness? is it because when you repaste with your own thermal paste you will need to make it as thick as the thermal pad?
