    Hey,

So a couple months ago my laptop decided not to turn on one morning without the power plugged in, came up with a "your battery has experienced a critical malfunction and must be replaced" error and push f1 to continue,

I finally got a new battery, put it in, starts up and works great.... untill i checked the charge rate of it using "BatteryInfoView" at which it stated it was charging at 930,000 milliwatts and when i check my desktop battery state it says 30% 04min untill fully charged (however it charges at a normal rate roughly 1% per min)

It discarges at 43,000 milliwatts, so its not a calculation error or program error.

am i correct to believe my charger is rooted?
if so is there any short term fix i can do while i wait for a replacement?
Otherwise is 900,000 mW damaging my new battery? or can it handle it?

    Thanks,
    Deane
