Hey is anybody overclocking the 970M?

Are there any reasons not to do it as far as warranty goes, or is it ok? If I have a problem down the road, will they know if I have overclocked the card or not? More importantly will they make an issue of it?

Looks like you can only OC +135MHz without a modded BIOS, so is it safe enough?

I have the AW15 and I think it definitely has the cooling potential to handle the overclock easily..

Just loking for your input, cheers!

Im waiting for an unlocked bios too... 135 MHz is nothing. Go for it. And no, it wont void your warranty

I would If I could, I install MSI Afterburner and nothing seem to work despite knowing that NVIDIA disable it with the controversial driver.

Any benchmarks of the overclocked GTX 970M?

As for the warranty, we don't support overclocking on the GPU. And if it's determined that the machine had OC'ing and that caused an issue, you may be billed the replacement. This is just the standard policy as it would be considered customer induced. My recommendation is to constantly check the temps of the machine if you're planning to overclock it.
