hu guys,
im having trouble with the bios over clock after re paste reaching temps of 97 degrees
its fine with performance mode disabled.
so im just wondering if there is any guides to safely get the most out of it with out it being too hot for long periods of time, ive heard setting it to level 3 and an undervault can manage this but im unable to find a guide.
any help would be much appreciated to help me get the most out of my 1080
thank you

Also when your OCing that high undervolting may not be the best as your pulling voltage out of the CPU when it's trying to grab more. I am not an OC expert by any means so someone else can help more here but I would think undervolting at those OC levels would be a bad thing.Vasudev likes this. -
Thanks for the reply. What is throttle stop? And do you know any recommended custom settings to try? -

I think it’s blatantly obvious you did a crap repaste. If your temperatures are higher now than with the stock paste that can only mean your repaste was junk.
There’s tons of guides on how to do this including one massive thread for your model.
