I was sick of using a "staedtler eraser" to lift the back of my 15 R3 up when in college or on the move, and decided to 3D print my own Laptop Stand/Vent Lift.

Designed it in Autodesk Fusion 360. This part has 5cm height and it is surprisingly stable for my 15 R3. I do not know how this would work under a 17R4 because a 17 R4 must be wider than the 15 R3.

The indent is so that the back "rubber foot"/"rubber lug" sits in it, not letting the laptop slide and fall off the lift easily. It took only about an hour and a half to print.

let me know if you guys want the .stl files to print it yourself.

    Regards

That's cool. I was looking at doing the same thing. I have access to some 3d printers.
