Looking to purchase an Alienware 17 (Canada) soon as they have a $450 deal currently ongoing until friday. Do any of you guys have any coupons or know any other discount that can apply to this? I have searched other forums and they all seem to haggle.

Spoke to a number of sales rep but the most the can give me is 4% off while other people seem to be getting between 10% - 30%.

Hmm...30% off?! Have you tried calling them? Keep calling until you get a person who can give you a good deal.

Keep us updated ...I'm needing to order a 15 or 17 asap...

    Cheers

Was not able to get any discount. But I did have a 10% coupon and a 5% coupon that I was able to stack. On top of that it is currently on sale for $450 off and got another $50 off for being a member.

All in all the Alienware 17 with 8GB NVidia GTX 980m, 16GB ram and 4k screen cost me $2999 with taxes included.

Thank you, but we don't have Alienware machines in the Canadian Dell outlet website.

That is not a problem as my dad has one which i often use to purchase over at amazon ebay and xoticpc (4yrs ago) can you link it to me? Also some people call dell for a better deal is this possible? I also heard some haggle for more than a year of warranty dont know if its legit. Any tips on how i can score an aw for a cheaper price? Will be getting rid of my aw r1 later today for around 1500usd which is very generous imo for this specs and being used already.

just Google "Dell outlet USA" and it's the first link. Add the computer to your basket (making sure it's listed with a 240 watt power adapter) and then hit the live chat button up top. Ask the rep what's the best price you can give me on the pc in my basket. :&)

Aw are quite expensive in my country. Do you know if its possible to connect an external monitor with a higher refresh rate w the aw? Some say its not possible bec of optimus. Also are there no physical shops of dell/aw around the us?
