Do we have a timeframe for A05? We've all spent good money on these machines to have constant throttling and fan profile issues.

When can we expect Dell to release a fix?

I've been waiting for a raid implementation or answer to the question since April, Goodluck!

Don't we have Dell reps on here? Anyone that can give us some insight into whether or not they're going to fix our problems with throttling, RAID, and broken fan profiles?

Never get a answer, on Dell's actual website as well, we often get the "we will forward that to the engineering team", always with no answer. While i love the laptop it would still be nice to have raid so i have one big drive bootable for my OS, why have 5 drive config on the 17 with no raid .

Have not you been told? There will be no raid support for AW15 and 17R2. This is decided long time ago. Already confirmed by Alienware representatives....

They need to retire and leave the performance business to companies who care. ORIGIN PC FTW

Now it is almost five weeks ago bios A04 was launched. The problems with this hybrid bios was discovered right away, but nothing happens. Tragic. AW15 and 17R2 will never function as intended. Perhaps it is so Dell wants it .

Origin PC ships internationally bro. I ordered the system you see in my sig about 5 days ago and now they are in the building stage. They are gonna ship it all the way to Dubai. They ship then in wood craters for extra protection.

LoL. Perhaps a new bios had been okay if Aw rep's had done the job... They know what the problem is. The Dell engineers are doing just mischief and designing bios so that hardware shall boil and throttle.
