    I have already 1 pcie m2 ssd (samsung 960).
I want to buy a second one. Will they both work? Will there be any restrictions?

You will need to configure RAID 0 to stripe the disks

Thank you. I just had doubts. I thought that you can install only 1 sata and 1 pcie, but apparently I was wrong)

But I already have AHCI for a boot drive. Why do I need to include a raid? Without it, will not it work?

If you want to use the 2nd ssd without striping it's fine too.
