I have a new 17r3 and have a few issues i would like to work through. First off my display driver keeps crashing, multiple times a day, if i had to guess i would guess its the integrated gpu not the 870m.

Also my wifi adapter has really erratic behavior. ill have low download speeds (its always lower than it should be) and other times it just outright has no connnection even though it says connected and wifi on all my other devices continues to work

    Rugby,

Not sure if this is your problem, but I had a similar problem w/ my AW15 R1 (UHD). However, Once I uninstalled both the intel graphics driver and the nvidia driver and re-installed them from the Dell drivers, then my problems went away and didn't have ANY crashes, I left my computer on 24/7 for a week just to be sure while doing work, etc.

Also, I have heard the Edge browser causes crashes, again, not sure if that's your issue, but try using firefox or chrome... just a thought.

My first AW17R3 also had wifi issues, I was unable to resolve those... awaiting my new AW17R3 (not because of issues, returned for an upgrade).

Yep, my AW15 had that exact issue, it would sleep and never recover... again, uninstalling those drivers and putting the dell one's fixed that problem too! I had to let it sleep and unsleep, it ran flawlessly for weeks! :) Highly recommend using the dell version only and don't upgrade the drivers through nvidia.

The Intel Display driver crashing is a widespread issue with the new Skylake CPUs - I've seen the same reports across multiple laptop brands and models. No known fix yet but some people have had success with using Chrome instead of Edge and Firefox.

I've had a 17 r3 since 2nd of December, and so far no wifi problems (when i use wifi anyway).

As for the crashing driver, yes, the intel integrated gpu driver seems to crash a lot (crazhed about7 times since i started using the laptop) but it's never been a nuisance to me since it never crashed during a game or something else important.
