HDMI suddenly quit. I mean it was working a few days ago. Went to stream a movie and the tv couldn't detect the source. Thought cable was bad? Get checking and the only graphics is the onboard Intel. I just about crapped my pants. It was not showing even in bios. I tried the fn+f7 but not joy. Reflashing the bios brought it back. Why did this happen?

My USB devices was disconnecting constantly w/o any reason, I had to disassemble whole laptop and straighten up IO board cable and tightened the DC IN screws and reseated the Power cable as well, so far it fixed the issue. I am seeing weird glitches on my PC as well, the issues come out of nowhere. Devices disappear. But, on linux its fine.
Even some of the Fn+F7 combinations aren't working on mine regardless of any OS.

I never used the Fn+F7 before. I remember my AW18 had a Fn combo for disabling the Nvidia but I remember it took a lot of messing with to get it to work. I dont recall touching the combo buttins recently. It did however launch Alienware update that recomended a Wifi update that failed after a couple of attempts. Weird crap. I am thinking I want to sell this machine and get into a unit with a 1060.
