I just recieved my 17 r4 from warranty. They had to replace the mobo and panel. When I first turned it on had to set up Windows. Once it rebooted after updates the screen shuts off with the other lights on (keyboard, logo, Tron and head) after the alienware logo screen and the Windows logo screen.

I recorded in the dark so you can actually see the screen shut down.

Switch the BIOS to Secure Boot with UEFI and try again. Disable fast boot using powercfg -h off

What Vasu said, it sounds like the "techs" toyed around with your bios settings. I had something similar happen when I sent my machine out, and only once (forced them to do in house every time after they messed my machine up).

I'm not too knowledgeable with comps. Where in the bios menu can I find secure boot?
Is fast boot in the bios or boot menu?

I enabled secure boot. But I can't find fast boot in bios. Where can I find that option?

Try power reset by removing back panel and battery plug. Also, clean RAM stick's golden part with a clean cloth.
