    Hi Guys,

So I purchased a new headset (Steelseries Siberia 840) and was looking to use the virtual surround, unfortunately this only works via optical in.

Any solutions to getting an optical audio out from the Laptop without a USB soundcard etc?

    would this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/UGREEN-Spl...pons&keywords=hdmi+to+optical+converter&psc=1

    or

    this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/deleyCON-M...d=1536109219&sr=8-21&keywords=hdmi+to+optical

work? I'm only using the mini DP out and suspect I can tell windows which monitor/audio solution to use?

the less clunky solution the better!

    Thank you!
