The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I purchased my new 17 R3, 5 days ago. I have been working and have not used it much. I did test it on temps when I bought it and it ran great. I recently updated the bios and now my temps are running about 15C higher! On the GPU and CPU.

    Is there any way to tell what BIOS version it came with so I can roll it back? I was thinking to go to the DELL site and look at the build sheet, but I am not sure if that would tell or not?
