Got my first dead pixel today. Laptop is 2 weeks old. Anyone else having to start a count yet?

Kinda makes me nauseous to think about a screen replacement already. I would probably rather take my chances on a new system.

Is it a dark or bright pixel?

Have you tried running something like this to see if it fixes anything?

I haven't as I think that's more for a stuck pixel. But heck, certainly won't hurt to try. I'll let ya know if I have any luck.

Gave it the gentle rubbing already just hoping it was a stuck pixel posing as a dead pixel lol! Unfortunately, she didn't respond to my loving caresses.
