    Hi all,
i have 256gb ssd and a 1tb disk drive and was wondering if any one knows the size of the 2.5 drive to save me opening it up to have a look.
i was hoping to put a 3tb hardrive or 4 in there but not sure of the depth of it.
    any help will be appreciated
    thanks

Assuming you’re changing the 1 TB HDD you got, the size would be standardized for all 2.5” HDDs as far as I know.

pretty sure they are 9mm drives thats the max that fits.

I swapped out my rotating drive for an 850evo SSD and thats only 7mm

the maximum you can put on is 2tb on rotating hdd. or you can add the Samsung 4tb evo ssd 2.5 inch like the one I have on but is like 1000 euro to buy.
