Have you done all the standard checks?

    Drivers up to date/installed?
    Not on power saver?
OS is on the ssd right?
    Check temps?
    Task manager usages?

Yes done all that it. It happens on battery and when plugged in.
I have now sorted it or narrowed it down to intel graphics as it doesn't do it now I have pressed fn and f7 my question now is does this affect the life of the graphics card?

Have you checked the clock source you're using? HPET likely suffers from issues you stated above, TSC is better.

If you clean installed your PC or even factory installed OS, OS defaults to TSC. Your problem was fixed because you switched to NVidia only.
