    No DIMM profiles on BIOS,
Fans kickin early.. HDD light is fixed.. and OS feels little snappier.. overall a decent BIOS, hope they fine tune the same bios and release it..

update : HDD light bug is still there.. mine was set to AHCI

How early do the fans kick in now? Is it a big difference compared to 1.2.2? Also did you clear your previous bios before flashing or just flash on top of it?

Can confirm no HDD bug with NVME oem drive and a Samsung 850 Pro SATA drive installed using Intel RST drivers (latest from intel from December).

Multiple reboots, on AHCI as well.

Popped my 840 Pro in, installed Windows 10 on it, same drivers, same setup etc. HDD Light bug is back. Put my 850 Pro back in, no HDD light bug.

    I'm wondering if it's a drive related issue/firmware?

most probably the default driver from windows, i dint install install RST, on previous bios when i installed driver from samsung 950 pro for PM951 nvme ssd, it worked like charm, no HDD light bug, but every single reboot "no media found", i had to restart again to get it detected.. so yeah firmware alongside driver conflict with bios..

1.2.2 xoesnt have that bug. Crazy that one of the oldest firmwares is still the best.

Its bullcrap that they dont fix known issues. This will make or break my choice of future alienware purchases. Not a lot of brands left -____-

I'm not experiencing the NVMe bug anymore with the 1.2.14 BIOS that was pulled. I'm still running the Samsung driver, but I'm also running newer "Fast Ring" builds of Win 10 as well.

Well it's just the PM951 firmware and bios conflict, i had windows 10 insider 14390 yesterday, i install os once in a week.. been insider for past 6 years.. so its not the OS.. its simply the driver conflict with BIOS, and latest insider builds come with latest intel HD graphic, nvidia driver along with chipset controllers..

What's this HDD light bug that everyone is experiencing? I recently downgraded to 1.2.8 but before this I was on 1.2.13 and never had this bug. HDD light is working as it should.

HDD light stays illuminated all the time. It mainly affects machines with multiple hard drives/SSDs installed.

Yep, it's only certain combinations. Like I said, it does it with my 256gb 840 Pro but not my 850. Both on latest firmware for each drive.

I have similar configuration like you @VICKYGAMEBOY

DIfference is in hard drives (Samsung 950 512GB NVMe + Plextor 1TB M6 Pro)
and CPU (6820HK) but I have never experienced any issue :(

One problem is, when I enable fast boot - sometimes on M6 Pro screen is black
and PC start normally (not in fast boot mode). On original HDD there is never a problem.

But this issue was also on my M14x R3. Solution is probably by Plextor side, because
    they know issue :)

the HDD light bug is gone with 1.2.15 on windows 10 insider build.. they have new drivers for storage nvme controllers from microsoft.. and few other updated drivers.. cant wait till august 2nd to get final redstone build.. windows 10 drivers finally getting improvement.. fan profile on 1.2.15 is bit better, i dont have GA to test the sleep bug.. apart from that no INTEL GOP update, no UEFI nvidia VBIOS update.. its the same..
