You sure the game is running off the nvidia card and not the integrated graphics.?

It happens to me when I try to play Crysis, it feels like crap but I don't have that problem with games like Skyrim, go figure...

What's the model number for the TV? Also, when you right click on the desktop and click graphics properties, does it give you an option to to select 120Hz? This is what mines looks like when connected to my monitor.

you are my hero bro. i totally forgot about that intel hd control panel. but it still does not explain why it is only giving the option of 60hz and i dont understand why the resolution(1920x1080) goes over the television despite it being also 1080p. but when i change it to 1650x1050 it is perfect. my television( http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN50H6350-50-Inch-1080p-120Hz/dp/B00I94IRIQ) what is the difference between both 60p or 60i hz?

Check out pages 213-215 of the manual. That TV only goes up to 60Hz at 1080p. Basically the panel itself is 120Hz but it is using Samsung's version of motion interpolation.

Ohh so its only a 60hz tv? How is this not a scam/false advertising lol. That still does not explain whenever i use the hdmi it does not fit the screen i have to lessen the resolution of my alienware so that it will fit my tv perfectly

Companies have been doing this for years. I have an LG TV that's supposedly 240Hz but it only accepts a 60Hz signal. As far as filling the entire screen, have you checked to see if your TV has a pc mode? Also, there may be a setting in the Nvidia or Intel control panel that allows you to adjust the scaling.
