The best offers I have been given is yes by calling a small business sales rep and haggling

I think the small business part is very important if you have less than 10 or even 1 employee I have gotten around 28-30% consistently s give it a shot but if you dont get a good deal hang up and try another rep cuz some are better than others at giving info and a discount

This confirmed what I said before that the pressure sensitivity is way behind

the accuracy seems pretty good but does anyone experience a noticeable jitter around the edges or the corners and all that

The price must be the biggest factor for people considering to purchase the IPS panel... Even if it's cheaper than HP. Any chance you're getting one Bokeh? :D

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the memory timings?

I'm getting crazy BSOD's. I thought it was a driver issue.

Memtest86 and HCI Memtest are throwing up errors. I ran Memtest86 overnight a month or so ago and I was fine.

Edit: Also, anyone know if it really matters which two bays I have memory in? Trying to figure out which of my four sticks are bad, so I can RMA.

Anyone knows if 4870m from m17x R2 works for M6600? Do I need to crack the bios in order to recognize it?

    Hi,
Being the owner of a M6600 with a CMI screen, I compared it with my Latitude 6500 1440x900 screen and the latter is much clearer, by a large margin.

So I called Dell support, explained my problem, especially since I use it for photo processing, and today a technician change my display... with a new CMI display. :eek2:

Yet, the new one is better. I still find the L6500 screen to be clearer, but by a smaller margin. When displaying photos, gamma is off (I will have to change this later), but the "film grain" of the CMI display is less annoying. It is more bothering on a white window.

Well, I wish the display would be better and on a par with this fantastic laptop, but I think I will learn to work with it...

Does the touch screen on the M6600 affect video viewing at all? Is there any difference in video quality while watching a movie on a touch screen versus a regular screen, if they both are 1080 screens?
