I'm thinking about upgrading my external monitor from a Dell E172FP (at 1280 x 1024) to the ultra-widescreen U2913WM (at 2560 x 1080). My Latitude has the nVidia NVS 160M graphics card.

I've read that the maximum output digitally is 1920 x 1200 on the nVidia site, but have also read on a couple of other sites that this is a limitation of the DVI port. Has anyone output the larger resolution via the DisplayPort option?

Just thought I'd respond on this one - I ended up buying a Dell U2713HM and am running it at full 2560x1440 resolution using one of the DisplayPort ports on the dock
