Should be M2x3, which is a very common size on laptops. You could always just grab one from somewhere on the laptop you're replacing, fyi. Even if the old laptop will be repurposed, there's probably somewhere it's using more screws than are strictly necessary. A friend of mine did that when he got his Evo.

No screws included but user guide said M2x3. I just searched through drawers and found an old screw that fit.

    Hello jphughan,
Made it through your check list (thanks!) and have one last question for you:

Best Free firewall and antivrus for win 8.1? Can't find any definitive guides on this subject.

I was using avast and privatefirewall on win 7. Not tied to them but looking for options that do not cause performance issues.

Is anyone using Photoshop on this machine and encountered a strange phenomenon of a "double cursor"? No matter what resolution i reset things to or the dpi it still opens in native and i get this double cursor that makes it extremely hard to make extremely pinpoint selections. I checked google regarding this and it seems as though it maybe a by product of using 3200x1800 displays along with the software not being able to work very well due to all the issues I dont need to get into. But if anyone has encountered this double (or 2 cursors side by side) issue and has found as way to resolve it...if you could kindly share it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance -- Im using CS3

    Guys,

On travel recently could not use the charger on United or Lufthansa. The 130W charger popped the breakers in my seat. Are the other chargers available? Some noted for M3800 are not really for that unit.

You should be fine with a lower wattage Dell charger. You'll probably need an adapter for the smaller power plug if one did not come with your computer.

Note that you may see reduced performed while plugged into the smaller charger.

You tripped a breaker? Wow, were you gaming on the system or something? Yes it has a 130W charger which is more than most laptops, but it doesn't actually pull all of that additional current unless you're doing something intensive with it. In any case, the suggestion above is your only real option. Most Dell laptops that specify 130W chargers won't charge with a 90W adapter connected (they'll just maintain their existing charge level) and your system may also throttle performance. You'll also probably get a startup warning about using the wrong power supply.
