Not sure if it is poor assembly because I have them, as well, though I only see the middle two. It doesn't bother me really.

I don't see them, not sure if it is because mine is blue or not looking in the right place.

Question though, does anybody have any problems with getting a little
shock when they touch the machine? I have several times, nothing bad but
I'm not sure I want to keep it if it continues.
    Thanks for any information.
    Jane

I get zapped when the weather is dry and I wear certain shoes. Laptop, car door, wife, dog. It's fun!

Jane, the static electricity shock has nothing to do with the E4200. Try it with your husbands M1330, you will find the reaction is the same. This has to do (usually) with a thick carpet and when you wear certain kinds of clothes and shoes. You can verify this theory by taking your laptop to a cafe or some other place with wooden floors or tiles. When I was back home in the States a couple of weeks ago, I was getting zapped outta my mind! Haven't seen the phenomenon since I left. It's my carpet at home. However, admittedly, if you have nothing but plastic on your laptop, you will probably not see the static discharge.

It is certainly very damaging for any sensitive electrical components such as ICs though, so I wish there was a solution.
